Hi,I've been running a "new job campaign" and have reached a point where I have a couple of offers in-hand and am hopefully expecting a couple more in the coming days.Obviously I am keen to maximise my earnings potential. When these offers come in I expect them to be pretty much in line with the salary expectations I provided earlier in the process. The problem is the offers I already have came in higher than expected (~£10k) and I would be keen to get the new offers up to this increased level so I can consider them side-by-side.How best to deal with this situation please? Just tell them thank you but regardless of what I asked for earlier I now have a couple of offers in hand for equivalent roles but package of X, valuing me higher in the market than I originally thought?I would be grateful for any advice. Go back politely to eachof the options still in the pipeline and advise them that you have an offer(s) on the table that you consider of sufficient interest to accept.However, you really enjoyed the interview process at their firm so far and would be keen to draw it to conclusion (one way or the other) before you are pressurised into accepting one of the other offers.Advise the firm/headhunters of the package being offered and the nature of the job/role/responsibility, etc.Anyone interested in you should be willing to accelerate a little, or save you the time by saying "no way, we'd never pay you that much".Well done on the offers, hope they work out.
