I have been reading about OW numerical and critical reasoning tests. Just wanted to know:1. Is the difficulty level, for both numerical and critical tests, above or below GMAT? This is because I was told in the email that it is at GCSE level, is it true?2. In Numerical, what topics are usually asked?3. Is it so difficult that one has to skip questions?I shall be taking these tests soon. Thanks

I took the test for a UK graduate position. The numerical test is more difficult than GMAT. I couldn't answer all the questions, but still received an invite for an interview.

Hi Anonroy,I am due to take my Oliver Wyman online test in a few days and I had a couple questions that I hoped I could ask you:1. Though they said I would be sitting "a" online test I feel this must be both a numerical and a verbal reasoning one. Was this the case for you?2. What areas would you suggest practicing for it (eg. geometry? Estimation? Ratios?)3. Are there any resources would you recommend using to study for it?Thank you so much!

I think that the biggest issue with OW's test is the time. You have to manage your time effectively. If you are stuck with a question, it is better not to spend too much time on it and move on because there are easier question in the test one can easily answer with basic quantitative skills. For me the most challenging questions were the probability questions. The main problem was that I had not been using basic probability principles since I graduated from college prior to the test. The questions were not too difficult but definitely more challenging than rest of the test. Here is a free resource to get the rust out of your math skills:www.caseinterview.com/mathI wish you the best of luck!www.phd2consulting.com

Hi guys,I'a one of the herd. Just took the tests earlier today. I think I did well on the numerical reasoning test but not so well on the critical reasoning test. I bearly reached 20 questions...and by then I have jumped 4-5 questions.....and must'v done 2-3 wrong....bad.On the numerical I must have answered 20 19 of which must have been correct. Please let me know 2 pieces on info if you may:1) How did the rest of you perform?2) Has anyone got a clue about what the benchmark is for this test?(trying to find out if my performance can get me to the next round). The tests are indeed difficult, and especially the critical reasoning one. The time wouldn't be enough for you to just read all the questions, let alone think about the correct answer.... And in my opinion (even after having time to think about some questions afterwards) there is some ambiguity about the answers.....Some help/ insight would be appreciated.
