It's really just aesthetic - advisory was used by the Big 4 when they came back into consultancy as a way of rebranding it. If you want a common parlance then Advisory is a tag useful for 'light touch' approach i.e. design, roadmap, assure, Consultancy lends itself to full lifecycle implementation. But the two are really interchangeable and you will find that MCs will use them depending on the nature of the work, depending on how hands on they need to be.
