How can an NGO possibly be offering an MC equivalent package? Somthing stinks in that. Re. your actual question, can't really speak with any authority as am not a recruiter. But looking at this from the point of view of someone reviewing CVs you should consider: - will the NGO opportunity push you and challenge you in new ways? - will it give you new learning opportunities (e.g. new types of stakeholders, more complex operating environment, dealing with suppliers/buyers/contracts, managing more/different/difficult/senior/junior employees) - will it give you industry insights that you can apply in your consulting career - will it build industry/consulting contacts that you can leverage when you're back in consultingAnd trumping all of the above: - will it give you more enjoyment in your working life - will it provide the work/life balance you want - will it mean less/more travel, shorter/longer commute - will it mean working with people who are inspired, motivated, helpful, inspiring, motivating
