Don't worry, the recruitment drive is still very much on! They've assured us that nothing is going to change with our brand, culture, or with our massive recruitment drive. As far as timing goes, I don't think as a new joiner you'll feel any difference with the acquistion by FIS (they may operate just as hands off as our previous owner Symphony did). Pros: we're a specialist consultancy with tons of work in retail banking/investment banking's largest clients. We're unique in culture, it's a very welcoming place to work where we care about each other, unlike most large consultancies. Cons: Not many if you're looking for a non-big four consultancy. Must like to socialise a lot after work- we tend to do a lot of organised drinks for any reason!

"Must like to socialise a lot after work- we tend to do a lot of organised drinks for any reason!"Is this code for "we work together AND spend all our spare time together", as in "forget having a private life, once you join this firm, it IS your life and you'll never get 5 minutes away from the team".Also, does it also mean "Plus we're not imaginative enough to organise a social event that doesn't revolve around alcohol"?

Capco's ranks are Analyst, Consultant, Senior Consultant, Principal Consultant, Managing Consultant, Director, Partner.I cannot comment on which rank you should aim for as I do not know your experience at Accenture and expected responsibilities- I would speak to someone from Accenture who is now at Capco to better understand what the expectations are from each rank. There are plenty of ex-Accenture people now at Capco to speak to!

Wow Dave, you're a really cynical consultant!Capco is a really friendly place where we try to be friendly outside of work. Most of the time alcohol is involved, but our social team organises events that happen to have alcohol as part of it- pub quiz, wine/whisky tasting, bowling night, etc.If you work in the City, I'd love to see you name a work related social event that is alcohol free. And if so, what was the attendance levels?

Levels/ bands? There isn't. Remember, you're joining a niche consultancy of a few thousand worldwide, not a big four. People know you by name in your practice, and will be regarded as a senior/junior of your rank by colleagues on how you perform, but it will not be official. We have no official levels between grades- however, if you think you can sell and manage large projects and teams to clients, then you're an MC. If not, you're a PC.

Hi Capco OT,I haven't directly sell but have been involved in presales, so should there be a need can try selling, I have managed large projects and teams ( multi million projects and team of 10-45 members), am I a right fit for managing Principal? How much sale is expected from a new Managing Principal? How big teams MC is expected to manage? Finally, you haven't answer my queries on Salary range for both Principal and managing principal level.thanks in advance.RegdsAnon

Ditto on the salary question, ive heard a lot about CAPCO offering double your salary offers to Accenture guys which seems crazy but you never know how much can be spent on salaries when you take out accenture HR and marketing budgets.

As there is a major recruitment drive on at Capco, and with a very competitive market, offers for new joiners may be different than in the past. Therefore I cannot comment on salary bands or what is currently being offered to new joiners. As for your other questions, yes, Managing Principal is the same as Managing Consultant, it's on par with the same title at other consultancies. As MC/MP, you may not have sales targets directly, but I cannot comment on what may be expected in future with new growth targets. If you are talking/interviewing with Capco at this time, I would recommend asking your questions directly to HR/the interviewers. They will most likely give you a better steer. Apologies if this does not answer your questions directly, but as Capco has a new growth strategy, it may impact what they expect from MPs in future.
