Hi All,I have cleared my ACN interviews and have got an offer at C2 level. I was expecting C3 as I have 5 years of experience in consultancy. My background checks are progressing at the moment. I would be joining ACN if everything goes well by December 10 or Jan 11. My question is , Will I be eligible for Sep 2012 Promotion for M1 ? Any response would be of great help .Thanks

Dint you just say you were offered a C2 position? If yes and joining at C2, then you first need to progress to C3 before you make the move to M1 - unless you are an exceptional performer. Even then, joining in Jan 2011 and expecting a double jump to M1 is quite impossibleAces

actually in a number of geographies (not sure if it is global yet) the MAL limits have been removed so as long as you have a year of ratings at a given level, you would be eligible. of course the OP's timelines would not meet this.

If I join ACN in Dec 10, I would have spend around 22 months by Sep 12 . To progress from C2 to C3, I believe I should spend a year. So ideally I would automatically move to C3 by 2011. So will I not be eligible for M1 by Sep 12 ? If not how 22 months of my experience would be considered ? Will I not even be considered because I am lagging 2 months of 24 months required experience ?Any response would be greatly appreciated.many Thanks

in order to become eligible for promotion, you will need one previous laddering and you will only get one in Sep 11. You may have a chance for March 12, if they opt for manager promotions.

Hi, need some expert advice urgently. I am Engineering graduate with post graduation in management (MBA) and have 6.5 years of consulting experience. I have been offered C2 grade only. What salary should I accept as fair? I think they are offering me pretty less ..

Why don't you ask your HR rep if they would consider starting you with 14 months at level (MAL) - or 15 if you start in Jan. That way when it comes to Sept 2012 you will have satisfied the MAL requirements of 36.However as already posted by others you do only need one year rating, but I would cover your bases...Good luck.
