all,Having gone through a lot of posts in this board, I would like to clarify what level and salary one should expect with about 9+ years of experience, most of which is in a global Indian consultancy and almost all in client sites in US and UK. I have an interview scheduled with a Sr Exec, HR shortly and would like to understand what to expect. Would appreciate any help. Thanks

All depends on what you were doing on these projects. What role were you fulfilling, how many people did you directly and matrix manage? What size and complexity were your projects? Will be able to give a better range if I know the above...

Obviously i have been going through the ladder of growth. Most recently I have been managing a team of 14 for a telco based project. I have been leading teams for atleast last 4 -5 years. I wasnt asked what size my projects were, hence assume this may not influence the decision.

IMO, vague platitudes about growth ladder and management won't cut it. you need to convince them that you're not a consultant who's languished in the middle ranks doing his time before being promoted simply through tenure and inertia. At 9 years experience the question should be what have you sold to whom, not just what you've delivered and who reports to you (even an A2 can have 5-10 direct reports in a user testing environment). Also bear in mind the divide by 2 rule - which would put you in C2/C3 territory.

Depends on what you have been doing. 9 years from grad in ACN would generally make you a snr mgr.

@Anon - if you make it that far. less than 20% of people stay more than 4 years in accenture, less than 5% of any A intake make SM. If it were that easy, no one would move - see my earlier comments about tenure.
