Hello dear friends.Im a CIMA operational level student with experience in textile industry. I want to be a management or strategy consultant. Due to work load I remained absent in several exams. Extra attempts remain heavy on my mind. What career path you would suggest me ? Should I gain more experience in industry or I should try to enter a consultancy firm now with a few years experience ?What is normally the experience required by these firms ?

As someone who spent nearly a decade as a self-employed consultant, I can attest that these are all valid and good reasons to consider this career path.

Given the industry that you want to move into, "not meeting obligations due to workload" will not be considered an excuse. Think about this before you decide to spend a lot of time and effort getting a consulting interview.
