Hi Guyz,I need you assistance as i am working with my Accenture UK HR for the offer. I have been offered a Consultant Level-9 role with Solutions (CD&O) not Consulting. The package that i am getting is of 44k for london location. Is i am getting the package as per market/company standard? I am currently working in Accenture India(have resigned from india and going to accenture UK) with the same Level-9 from past 2 years(Team Leaded) with MAL(months at level)= and YAL(years at level)=4.Do you think i am being offered the right package or i can negotiate on it?Regards,Pree

Hey, UK consultant level 9 here. The usual bracket for a C1/C2 (which i believe is the level you're being placed) is somewhere between £43.5K & £45k so not sure there would be much space for movement even if you tried negotiating. No harm in trying though. Good luck :)

Thanks kyjuan for a quick response.Do you know if accenture provides a joining bonus? I read sometimes it does give joining bonus from 5k to 10k but i am not sure about it. If so, then i will ask my HR about it.Regards,Pree247

As you're an existing/recent Accenture employee, most likely this recruitment will be handled via the internal transfer process. As such I expect that your most recent salary in India will be converted to UK equivalent using a formula (not very much is left to personal discretion within Accenture). As you're joining CDO (Solutions) rather than C&M (Consulting) be careful comparing salaries with C&M grades - C1/C2 etc. My understanding of the joining bonus is that the policy applies to individuals not before seen by Accenture so your chances may be slim. Similarly, options for negotiation may be limited to "accept" or "reject" however best of luck trying.

Hi,Is there any place where I can know how many levels are there for Consultant and Manager position and what are the salary range for each level. I had applied for a job which says Position as Consultant and Level as Manager in London. Salary range is from 45 to 57 GBP. Does entry level manager in C&M make 45 GBP?

I'm an IT professional with 5 years experience mainly in the consulting arena. I'm new to Australia and I could use some help to understand how much is reasonable to quote in my interview with Accenture for a technical consulting role?Any thoughts please!

I have read it somewhere here in the forum that current M1 basic pay in London plays around 68K. But as recently checked in glassdoor, average pay is 77K, and 89K for MC Managers. Can anyone confirm the current average figure?

I would say that £68k for an M1 is on the high side, I know M3s on about this. It all depends on what area of the business you're in and how well you can negotiate.
