Hey all, i'm trying to decide whether to complete my business degree and follow a career as a financial planner or pursue a career as an electrician. The way i see it is i can make around the same money in each job, if I go to the mines and work as an electrician. Some factors involved: I am actually interested in a career as an electrician, whereas business seems so boring. I also want to earn as soon as possible because money is a constant issue. I am wondering whether financial planning would be better in the long-run as i could work until an older age. Any advice? Thanks.

1. business is mostly boring2. do what you're interested in - don't follow the money3. you will probably earn much less over a lifetime as an electrician compared to being a consultant, but doing a business degree doesn't = being a consultant (or even a manager).
