Hi , I have worked for technology consulting and System Integration for last 13 years and in process of getting a job offer from Deloitte. Can anybody tell me what should be salary at that level? I have been told a number of times that I don't have consulting experience which I find quite surprising . I have not worked for a So called "Consulting" firms but my profile is very much consulting oriented.Also is this a valid reason to offer a low salary?

Not sure this is clear - you have consulting experience but never worked for a consultancy?? Also - what is the offer they are putting to you, how do you know this is low?

I suggest you do some research on the usual salary for that position. If your past work experience is related to the work you have applied then that should be considered.http://www.pezahub.com/
