Want some thoughts on my recent interview experience with Acn (London office, Consulting, experienced hire). First round phone interview went extremely well - the interviewer was friendly, genuinely interested and knowledgeable. I was looking forward to my second/final interview. This switftly happened (December last year) with a Sr. Mgr. at their London offices which also went reasonably well.That was December. 4 months on - I yet have to hear anything. I tried to call HR - this gets 'put on' some sort of call-centre database. A week ago my 'query' on their 'systems' was closed. What on Earth is happening? I'm quite shocked actually as my interview experience with Deloitte, Oliver Wyman, KPMG amongst several others was what I'd expect - professional and quick.Any pointers appreciated on what I'm to make of this.-Acc

Take it as either a silent no or they were just interviewing you to meet some kind of quota, or they changed their mind. Either way, its been 4 months dude, move on with your life and let it go...

Thanks for your reply Ronald. Yeah obviously I am not sitting around waiting for them but I've never heard of a 'silent no' for final round interviews. It's just plain courtesy to email/call with a sentence or two even if that's conveying rejection. Just reinforces everything on here about them.
