I have the opportunity to do some projects around operational strategy based in China and Hong Kong. This would be for 1 year.Do you think China experience is a worthy addition to one's CV?Thanks!

depends whether you see yoursrelf continuing to want to work in the Chinese market - it's a 'hot skill' but only in that market, if you see what I mean. if it's a one off then it won't add much.

having worked in the far east for a large consultancy for many years I think you would find your global clients were really impressed by that experience - but you might find you were a little far away from the action if your firm is headquartered in NY or LON

Spend the year paying lower taxes and saving loads of money, rolling with hot chinese gals in a booming economy? Or get over-taxed in the UK and roll with fat gals. I don't know how you will decide, its such a tough decision!
