I have the first round of interview this week for a VP position. Any idea how the recruitment process works.Also what salary range the firm offers.

Dick - Is it fair to assume you are being headhunted? If yes, ask your recruiter.Be prepared for marathon of interviews (generally 6-7 rounds) followed by 4-5 hrs of written assessment. Process stops as soon as you get a couple of dings!Interviews are more like a chat and they are a friendly bunch. But be sure they will be assessing you. Most of them will be pretty senior professionals. VP level is equivalent to consulting Manager level. All the best!

erm... no. VP level is most definitely NOT equivalent to manager level.... just look at the pay brackets. VP = senior consultant at Bain or senior Manager at Acn....what managers are on 100k plus and charge 3/4k a day?Alvarez Man
