I've heard that they have the lowest pay rates for graduate roles at only 27K and require extensive traveling. No thanks.

It's £27k for the various IT consulting and support positions, £32k for the management consulting position (singular, reflecting the relative size of these parts of the business). Not hearsay - it's on the website. Also not out of line with the market. The travel is the same as Big-4 - you'll get lucky with some projects, but unlucky with most."Big and Blue" refers to fact that there are a lot of people working there ("Big") and they are perceived as a homogeneous lot, historically renowned for all wearing uniform dark suits with blue shirts ("Blue"). Upside: you're part of a big organisation. Downside: lots of dead wood and pressure to conform to the norm, easy to get sucked in and never re-emerge. IBM was the iconic first but you'll find exactly the same issues (if not worse) at ACN, Deloitte, HP, PwC, EY, etc. these days.

The Big Blue (1988) Adventure/Drama/Romance · 118 minThe Big Blue is an unusual movie. There is some silly (but arguably funny) humour. Also there are some serious levels including romance, and how we deal with problems from our past ... like buying IBM when open source would have done Some culture reviewers have noted the move to Southbank next to ITV has helped them develop the humor side of their offering with sponsored byHP (Sauce) as part of their offerings.Other known culture phrases for big blue are known to frequent around Chelsea with their leader John Terry - Lotus positioning is his forte apparently !

Hi - it is base - bonus up to band 10 is up to 12% of base (reality is it pays for top performers - 5%). There is also a car allowance or cash alternative on top of this.

The car allowance is derisory at IBM. Unchanged since the late 1980s, looking at what they offer.
