The client and I had just begun our meeting when he pulled his iPad out and started playing elevator/baby-making music at the highest possible volume. I laughed at first, thinking he was kidding…except this continued for the next 30 minutes during our meeting. It was an extremely awkward situation, for all 20 of us in the office.

Not necessarily a mouthful of gob in the face - this has happened to me in the past.I though it was because I'd lost the director in question's attention until I heard that he regularly played Angry Birds in board meetings until the Chair reached over and nicked his iPhone off him one time.EC

Could have been worse...A few months back I accompanied a couple of consultants into the office of our Marketing Director -a mad genius type-, where he was waiting for them with a riding crop. He was holding it in one hand and slowly and repetitively cracking against the palm of his other hand. I have no idea to this day what the hell he was doing with it, but the look on the guys faces was priceless.
