Wow. Censorship must be getting tight nowadays if posts like that have to be removed. Keeping the shareholders in Beijing happy perhaps?

Even though you seem like a bit of a c*ck anigav, i'd have to agree. I don't think the initial reply should have been removed as there wasn't really anything that offensive there

To summarise, you will be photocopying, filing, copying and pasting between meaningless documents, printing and collating handouts, getting shouted at anyone even vaguely more senior than you who gets on a power trip, and falling asleep with boredom. You'll be surfing the internet every chance you can to "get back at the man", and drinking every evening with the rest of the analysts - partly to drown your sorrows, partly to ensure as much as possible of the next day will pass in semi-slumber, and partly because sticking with the herd is the only protection against psychotic bullies singling you out for special power-trip b*ll*ckings.

You could be doing anything. Depends on your role but perhaps mostly PMO type work, sorting time sheets, ensuring people have submitted their time reports, organising events after work of for the project. Sometimes you might get a more hands on role it depends on who your manager is and what project you're on. It's all pretty boring work tho for perhaps the first year anyway...After work invariably you'll be in a bar or pub, if you're out of town or have a bit of personality (which I doubt u will if you are actually employed because all the analysts are exactly the same type of person bar 1 or 2 per start group) you might actually do something interesting or have a life outside of work. HTH :)
