i'm a consultant at accenture....i would like to know which professional qualifications i can do to increase my value. i.e. mba? acca? etc.

I would recommend an mba or perhaps and acca.

It depends:What kind of work do you do/want to do, and sector focus (if any)?How long in consulting?Can you afford to take time out (eg for an MBA)?

As said above, it entirely depends on what you want to do. If you are currently in FPM and want to continue down that route then ACCA is worth having but not necessary.I'd say in consulting, an MBA is worth far more [in both CV worth and money worth].ACCA is however useful if you later want to make a move in industry [much more than an MBA if you want a career in finance].In fact an accounting qualification is a must have in industry.it therefore depends on what your 5-10 year career plan looks like...

At 3 years it's too soon to benefit from an MBA, and anyway the cost at this point in your career would be hard to justify. Depending on the kind of work you do (you only mentioned sectors) just adding to your consulting tools will be of value - project management quals (quite easy to obtain), six sigma etc, maybe a marketing diploma if thats your area, you get the idea.
