all i am currently a c1 at accenture (46K)...ive been offered a position of a test analyst (AVP level) at barclays cap....with a slaray of 70k.confused if i should take it or not??

I am at AVP in BarCap.No one at that grade gets 70K. Is that the base salary ?The range is 50 - 60 K.

ive been told its plus 5K car bonus? so around 65k + car bounus.how many years of experience do u need to get to avp? i.e. if you join as a fresh grad at barcap

If you're C1 then you will need to wait 2 years to be on that at Acn (M1) so for that reason alone its probably worth it. Why you would want to be a test analyst is someting you'll need to figure out yourself i'm afraid though.

The max AVP usually gets is around 60 plus 5K car. Average is 55. You seem to have a good offer.If money is your goal then go for it.What area are you joining in BarCap.I dont know about grad to AVP in barcap, I joined as an external hire.

AVP not equal to M1 in Barcap...it is C1 or C2.Banks pay well, but its more hire and fire also.

I meant 2 years to get that package at accenture. I'd go for it. It sounds even more boring than working at accenture but at least it pays more.

Don't forget the bonus that you will get in BarCap straight away but not in Acn until you reach M1
