Bonuses E&Y and ACN

Hi All,Could any one give me some indication on the percentage of bonus above base salary for say C3 level at ACN and Executive level at EY.A range or a ball park figure would be useful as I might need to make a decision some time soon.

ACN don't start to pay an annual bonus until M1 level

Really sad, makes me wonder ACN is considered such such hot property in the market, Are promotions faster then other comps.Any idea how much time it may take from C3 to M1 (average case and worst case)

I mean its much lower than the industry rates, Forget Investment banks even retail banks can easily match that

Typically 1 yr from C3 to M1 when you'll get 8%.Accenture pay is towards the upper end, excluding strat firms but in the grand scheme of things, a bit cr@p.

Typically 1 year for C3 to M1 is that true?? I mean there is a big difference between the C3 and M1 salaries (including bonus and Car Allowance).Could a new joinee at C3 expect getting to M1 level in a year and what is the yearly promotion cycle.

Very possible to move from C3 to M1 within 12-18months mainly because ACN tend to get in experienced hires with more years of exp than in house C3s.Plus it depends on how well you do. From info on this forum, ACN have yearly appraisals and hikes given in Sept and another review in March but for exceptional employees only I guessAces

Thanks Aces,So it means someone joining in Oct Nov would probably look for promotion in around 15-16 months in the March cycle.. not before that. You also mentioned March is only for exceptional performers so normally it would take around 22 months.

Yep, most of those who join after Sept in a year have this problem. If you join in Jan/Feb 2011 it gets worse as you will most likely wait till Sept 2012 for the promotion :-(Only option is to fight for one when the so called 'exceptional' reviews happen in March and if nothing is given then just pack up and move on!!!Aces

I assume the post above means the out of cycle promotions in March 2012, in which case why wouldn't you wait til Sept 2012 if unsuccessful in March of that year (since the 2nd perf mgmt period runs start Dec through end of May - you'd have already been working most of the assessing period)?
