This has to be one of the single most asked questions on this forum. If you're promoted internally you could get as low as 47k base and 5k flexible benefits. Over the last 5-8 years the lower end of the package has actually decreased. It goes up to around 65k total. There are no SCs getting a 10k bonus. It's nearer 0-5%.

10% or more is sometimes paid in other service lines, though.£47k is back to where it was in 2005. It had edged up into the 50s by 2008.
