Hi all. Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts about Finalta? Any thoughts on the respectability of the brand? They seem keen to mention they're a McKinsey sub, but does the brand actually stand out well on its own in people opinion?Would it make a good place to break in to consulting? Obviously it's not comparable to MBB, but to the likes of big 4?Any thoughts on the work they do? I know the basics, but do they actually get involved in 'management consulting' or is it mainly analytics?Thanks to anyone who can offer any insight!

It would appear that they do benchmarking, not sure if that counts as traditional "consulting" as such? but looks like a nice company anyway!

Might just be a waste of time, and seems tough to find any info on working for this company which again is a bit worrying. Yeah just make sure you have a good exit strategy if you go for a career journey with them.Normally consists of 2 doors at the front two at the rear and another two over the wings. BEP will just point them out to you now.Who know's things may take off....how many puns can I get in this reply - i'm not even scratching the surface - best get my head down and do some work.It's a bit quiet on here at the moment most people will be on hols hence the lack of further insight from those normally in the know.DC

From what I understood, the McKinsey support will certainly help future expansion from an infrastructure perspective. Unfortunately the role wasn&apos;t quite right for me, but I had to think long and hard about it.

Thanks for responding, it&apos;d be great to get a little more insight if you don&apos;t mind.From your experience, did it appear that they were offering true &apos;consulting&apos; or purely performance monitoring? It&apos;s hard to tell from the website whether they are mainly just outsourced monitoring and performance reporting (with a bit of benchmarking), or whether they are actually advising their clients on how to improve performance etcetera?Thanks!

Staff, around 30-40 when I was there last year. Unless they have gone crazy and tripled headcount in the last year, I think it will still be sub-100!My understanding was that a lot of analysis was completed in the UK, recommendations created, and then short trips were made to clients to present the results & advice...a bit different to the usual consulting arrangement.
