Dear All,I have recently decided to change careers and pursue a position as a management consultant. I have not had much success in getting to the interview stage. So I was hoping that some one would be able to provide some different ideas.A little about myself, I am 30, I reside Portugal, and am a Portuguese national. I worked and studied in the US for 24 years. I have BAs in Economics, Political Science, and History, along with a MA in Public Policy. I have work experience in retail, sales, financial services (MetLIfe Rep.), and interned for an US Congressman and the Embassy of Portugal. Now I don't believe that pursuing a position through a graduate scheme will be effective for me, as that is what I have been attempting to do and the results have not been encouraging. So my questions are the following:1. What is the best way for me to break into this industry?2. Should I focus on small firms or larger firms?3. Can anyone recommend any recruiters to contact or firms that are hiring that I should look into?Sincerely,Pedro
