Henry absolutely agree with Cool - it's crucial you check your company policy on acquiring a CCJ in service. As you have had a charge on your house I assume you have acquired the CCJ through default on a secured loan? Look carefully at who is putting the charge there, as companies can (and do) try to put a charge on your property when they in fact have no legal eligibility to do so. Next steps are get in touch with the creditor who has taken you to court and see if you can negotiate - if necessary write to the court for a 'redetermination' on the grounds that your employment may be affected, further aggravating the debt, and put this to your creditor too. Buys you some time to get your creditor to play ball. Come back if you need more advice.
