Hi does anyone know how long it takes for an contract to be written up and posted out by Deloitte. I would have thought it was about 2 weeks after they've confirmed to you verbally you've been successful.

Depends on how long it takes to be signed off by the appropriate partner.

I'd give them 3 or 4 weeks before calling up HR

Hi ,my previous experience with Deloitte has been pretty sad in terms of their response time..the overall process had taken well over 4 months. In fact they told me I have cleared my 4th Interview with a partner after 4-5 weeks and that they would be releasing the offer..by that time I had already joined Acn so politely declined ..so although I cannot comment on how much time it takes for them to release the offer once they have verbally confirmed it..I can pretty much tell you that they really take a long time..specially releasing the final offer would take more time..so as advised by BEP..3-4 weeks wait before you contact the HR is right..

Give it 2 weeks and then politely query the recruiter who has been handling your case...that can quicken up the process a bit..however as mentioned above , it all depends on how qucikly the recruiter can get hold of the partner to sign off your offer letter....good luck!!

I had a similar experience - application to offer took 5 months! It took 2 weeks from an "intention to offer" to getting the paperwork. From then on everything has been really smooth - although still a couple of weeks until my first day!I would call your HR contact after 2 weeks if you haven't heard anything but it does seem that it is normal to wait so I wouldn't worry too much. Congrats on the offer!

I was selected by deloitte in Sept 2013(verbally confirmed). After that I was told that requirement went on hold and it will take time. Now its December, 2013 and I haven't got my offer letter yet.How should I take it? Releasing the offer letter will take some more time? or will not come at all? Please reply.

dont worry your whiskers! First off they have taken you through a whole recruitment process costing them close to £5000 and you think they will forget about you.Your role starts in Sept 2014.. Chill, Relax, Travel the World!! (thats what they expect you to do)... Even If Deloitte mails you the offer in July 2014 Whats the problem you still get to start.... I was told paper works start 6 Weeks before Job is due to start, For most people Paper Work start way earlier... so what? they don't get paid till the job starts, they don't get to be ahead of you.On the final day when you all are assembled in London before being dispatched to your Locations.... DELOITTE WON'T REMEMBER WHO GOT THEIR OFFER LETTER FIRST AND WHO GOT IT LAST!!!!!

I completed final round of interviews with Deloitte about 2 weeks back and was told by the recruiter a week back that they are working on my offer approval process. However I have not heard back after that. Should I be worried?

The sad reality is, possibly.I referred a candidate to Deloitte and she was given a verbal offer - it took months for HR to get the contract pushed through due to 'recruitment freezes' and other internal politics. My suggestion is to bypass HR and contact directly the Partner, or Director, that you interviewed with.
