I had a dilemma which led to this query...After working in ACN for 2.5 years I have now decided to move on... got an offer from E&Y..the pay is good, the role seems to be good in IT advisory, strategic consultant..but wanted to understand whether moving to EY is a good option as I aim to be a top strategic consultant first and then take it from there and try moving upwards..Your thoughts please!!!

Moving to EY from ACN? Good move for culture - you should find EY more close knit and collegiate, less politic than ACN, although with less variety of projects and less ways to network into projects you want and out of projects you dont (anything with assurance involved). Neither will position you as a strategy consultant though - its not what they do. I would argue EY might move you a bit closer to the business though.
