Thanks..They did not provide one. I have received an offer from Hitachi and in the middle of receiving an offer from Accenture.

Wait for the Accenture offer and assuming Hitachi is the only other option, take the Accenture offer.

24 hours to accept the offer or it is withdrawn?!?!If that really us true, then it tells you all you need to know about the firm; they are paranoid about constantly coming in as second choice.If necessary sign the offer - it does not commit you to the job! You can "resign" when the acn offer comes in.

Unless you are currently not working just ignore Hitachi.

Congrats. Very good firm. Answer to your question really depends on what you want to do. Opeartional consulting or system implementation - hard to beat these guys. Hard core strategy, you should look elsewhere. Strong culture, market comp, seem to care about their people.

It was a joke.Hitachi is neither here nor there with regards to an MC application - although the MBA will obviously help. What will steer the application is what you have done at H and how applicable that is to what you are applying for.

Finally! A transatlantic whoosh! (Assuming they mean Washington DC or Washington State!)God help us all if you can do an MBA at the university of Washington in Sussex!

Its UW seattle - foster school of business (exp graduation : 2014)..I am totally new to consulting. I have 5 yrs of software development experience and 2 years in program management.Right now, they are putting me on 'application support' which I absolutely don't like. As a consultant, do I have a right to change my project? I mean do I have a choice?

Not liking your new job already, that is good...No you don't have a right and you won't get a choice for a long time..

I'm afraid you are just about to learn the hard way that there are hundreds of techy sweatshops that get people to work for them by calling the job "consultancy".
