Unlike some of the other posters, I believe the OP may be referring to consultants who deal with the Small and Medium Sized Enterprise sector, as opposed to diminutive consultants.However, I do not think you will find that many of them lurking on this forum.I have consulted in this sector, and find one of the issues is that day rates have to be far higher than strictly necessary, due to the length of time taken, and amount of effort required, to sell a project into the SME sector. This means the client aquisition cost is high, leading to higher project costs.Often the client does not really see the value until later in the project. This is frustrating.
