I got 350 UCAS points and a very high 2.1. I have been working at ATS over 3 years and have been promoted twice but really hate working at ATS as the consulting staffs look down on you and the roles I get are not challenging as they don’t let me take ownership. I wanted to know if it possible for me to move from ATS into other consultancy such as EY and keep the same salary. Currently I am on £38K.What’s the best consultancy to apply to for a person in my position?

It really depends on the project you're on. On some, you'll find most people rude and despicable with an obnoxious political landscape to go with it, whereas on others, you'll find them friendly and approachable. Looking at your salary, I would guess you're an Analyst Programmer. This is equivalent in responsibility to a C1. Bear in mind though that you won't get much role ownership/scope/accountability until you hit Team Lead (Systems Analyst). If you really must move, I know a mate of mine from Solutions who moved to Deloitte with a significant hike to his salary, as well as many others from Consulting during the VR/CRs that plagued us a while back.
