Bain - Senior Associate
Pharma Man

I am interviewing for a senior associate (not SAC) position, industry hire, and am aiming to ask 130k plus 20k sign on. Is this reasonable or could I pitch for more?

In general in the UK £90k is not unreasonable 2-3 years after an MBA and you could go as high as £100k depending on tier of firm and experience.£130k is very unlikely unless you have unique pre- and post- MBA experience.EC

How does this compare with the other top strategy firms in the UK? Is there much variation in packages at these firms or do they attract staff purely on the strength of the brand / culture?

No big differences - the top firms want you to want to work for them, rather than an extra couple of thousand. Make of that what you will.
