Hi all,I am a management consultant living in Australia (3 years exp) and are considering applying for the Youth Mobility Visa and working in London. The Youth mobility scheme only allows you to stay in the UK for 2 years - and it can not be extended. Will UK based management consultancies consider hiring someone with this type of visa?Cheers

Go contracting - particularly if you have any IT or banking on your CV.Keep your rate low on the first job and you'll walk into a role in London. After your first three months you can get a rate increase or move to a better job.Gives you flexibility to travel as well, as contractors can take whatever time off they want (unpaid) within reason.Loads of ozzies and kiwis in the London contract market.
