HiI am currently on a sabatical from my consulting job and most of this was spent doing a business turnaround and strategy for a small charitable trust out in Africa. This experience opened my eyes to a few things and has made me see there is more to life than the consulting treadmill. I now have a month to work out what next before I have to make a decision and am looking to move into contracting/freelance consulting/interim management at least for the immediate future on a 3-4 days a week basis so I can pursue other ideas. I have over 15 years experience - 6years post MBA in strategy and operations consultancy as an engagement manager and 9 years pre MBA as a project manager. My questions are:I'm aware of the firms such as Eden Mccallum, Mindbench and Fresh Minds - are there any others out there? And which people/agents within these firms do people recomend the most? How willing are companies to take contractors on a 3-4day week? Are agencies some of the best routes to roles in the short term? What are the typical day rates like at the moment for someone of my experience? Thanks in advance for your help
