I recently joined the Ops group on Mgr grade and went through this.The assessment session will be broken into 2 steps i) a presentation on a given scenario, you'll need to do flip charts/prompt cards for this and ii) a written synopsis on a business proposition for change. You'll get 2 hrs and have to complete both in that 1 session one your own.The written one is taken away but they will be looking for strengths in the direction, clarity and your thought process on turning a strategic direction in to a plan of action. Clarity is the key point on this, obviously as well as sound grammar. You'll then be presenting the scenario and have about 10-15 mins for this with 1 or 2 other people in the room with Q&A through out.Hope this helps - enjoy.
