do you mean IB or IB IT? you have a vague chance of moving into the latter, but none of making millions out of it.. the former? can't see what commecial value you bring to IB or how a mid career change would work starting from a PM base - if for example you knew the vendor market inside out and backwards then conceivably you could get into a tech sector research role as a starting point. the sad fact is you add nothing to an IB over a fresh grad...

do you believe if I do MBA again (this time from LBS) would I stand a better chance to work into Investment banking?If so, at what level I can start? what would be the minimum salary I will be offered? regds

three questions to you ,OP1) You didn't answe rc's question: presumably you want to move into IB IT?2) why would you do another MBA? Just to get the LBS brand on your cv????3) With 14 years experience you must be at least 35 - even if you did get the LBS brand by doing another mba there, why would a bank hire you over a 26 year old MBA from the same school??

I want to get into IB.- Yes for having LBS Brand on my CV which I believe carries hell lot of recognization across the globe where the business school I did MBA from is only recognized in UK ( on of the top 10 MBA in UK, and Top 50 in the world) and doesn't stand in front of LBS.- Yes, you are right I am 33.5 now and by the time I will finish LBS MBA I might be 36 depending upon which intake I get into LBSI don't believe anyone at the age of 26 can get into LBS so doesn't agree with you on this point. Just don't see how 2.5 years big4 experience and 3 years at a retail bank etc will help.

OP what part of IB do you want to move into?

This is presumably not a serious thread, but if so:The LBS Exec MBA is unlikely to help you get an investment banking role - that is not what it is for, not all MBAs are the sameThe LBS full-time MBA would help, but I doubt you would get accepted based on the information you have given here. Even if you were accepted on the full-time course you would be right at the bottom of the pile in terms of attractiveness to banks.In short, your chances are miniscule and you should have been asking this question about 8 years ago
